A bit of history
The name Actimel comes from the Flemish "actieve melk", meaning active milk. Actimel contains two traditional yogurt cultures:
Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus. On top of these it contains a third culture, L. Casei Danone, an exclusive culture that has been specially selected by Danone.
